Singapore Creator Awards 2021

ABOUT US

Unleashing Creativity

A design competition initiated in 2018, The Singapore Creator Awards aims at spurring creativity, enhancing user-product interaction, and discovering breakthrough product or design solutions infused with Singapore culture. The Awards celebrate the unique characteristics of the Singapore lifestyle, culture or heritage.

Rediscovering Singapore

Every city has devised a unique way to cope with disruptions arising from the pandemic. Good design not only lifts spirits but it also gives us access to convenience. Enhancing product quality and user experience by better design paves the way to the development of new products, and new markets.

Designers and creators based in Singapore are invited to submit purposeful and functional designs that will resonate locally and contribute to the community. It can be graphic, spatial designs, user experience designs, product designs or mobile apps that reflect the new normal amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Closer Collaboration: Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and the Chinese Media Group of SPH Media have been co-organising the “Zaobao Cultural & Creative Space" since 2017. The line-up of exploratory activities include the "Life Aesthetics Lecture" that promotes the quality of life and the experience of cultural living, as well as the ‘Maker Labs’ that showcases local cultural design and other expressions of creativity. Now, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre has joined hands with Lianhe Zaobao to use Singapore Creator Awards 2021 as a platform to discover more creative design works infused with the Singapore culture and encourage a greater appreciation of local heritage.
